Taiwan will revise the fee requirements on certain substance registration categories and licenses and formalities of experimental use permit (EUP). Changes to reduction certification and tariffs will also be made.
On 28 May 2018, Taiwan EPA solicited opinion on a new charging policy for environmental agents. Administrative charges on certain registration and license categories would be doubled and charging scope would expand to include pesticide for export only purpose, experimental use permit (EUP) and certificate supporting tariff reduction for imported technical materials. The criteria was firstly established as early as 2005 and revised in 2009. Major fee changes are described as follows:
