K-BPR: NIER Released Data Requirements for 20 Insecticides for Simplified Approval

On May 28, 2021, the South Korean National Institute of Environmental Research (NIER) disclosed the required/exempted data items of 20 insecticidal/repelling active substances that have been evaluated internationally and to be approved through a simplified process.

Compared to the exemption items of 17 disinfectants released on May 24, insecticidal/repelling substances would be conditionally required for more environmental impact and behavior data, considering whether the purpose and use scope have been evaluated in the EU or the US, the possibility of ecological hazard and continuous exposure.
