Approved And Banned Rodenticides in China
US EPA has reached agreement with Rechkitt Benckiser to cancel 12 d-CON rodenticides which pose both health and environmental risks, have been produced and marketed in USA for more than 50 years and which contain the second-generation anticoagulant Brodifacoum as the active ingredient.
The 12d-CON products were canceled because they do not meet EPA’s current safety standard announced in 2008. As of January 1, 2015, all registered consumer rodenticides in USA will conform to EPA’s 2008 Risk Mitigation Decision.8 d-CON products and some other rodenticides remain on the list of rodenticides that meet EPA’s new standards.
