China Promulgates Guidelines on Pesticide Environmental Risk Assessment
On 23 May 2016, China Ministry of Agriculture issued the Announcement 2405 to promulgate 64 pesticide industry standards to be in force on 1 Oct 2016, of which 7 standards are firstly enacted for pesticide environmental risk assessment.
The standards ranging from test protocols of efficacy, physical-chemical property, pest resistance assessment, management practice for field trial, guidelines for full component study and validation of analytical method for quality test, as well as quality standard for novel biopesticide. The code, name and replacement of these standards are listed in below table:
