GB 2763-2016 contains 4110 MRLs for 433 pesticides in 286 commodities/commodity group. It also provides MRLs for all banned/restricted pesticies in all types of commodity. 33 pesticides have been inluded into the list of low risk pesticides exempted from MRLs.

The "Rules for the Accreditation on Testing Facilities for Pesticide Registration” specifies the study scope, procedures and technical requirements for the accreditation, while the “Good Laboratory Practice for the Experimentation of Pesticide Registration” specifies the principles to be followed: the organization and personnel, testing facilities, instruments, materials and reagents, test systems, test items, reference items and samples, SOPs, performance and report of study.

The Rules were compiled by the MoA in accordance with the “Regulation on the Administration of Pesticides” and the “Administrative Measures for the Production License of Pesticide”, aimed at standardizing the administrative procedures and technical criteria for the evaluation of pesticide producers.

The Catalogue was issued under Food Safety Law (2017 Version) and the restricted pesticides are subject to additional label requirements and/or designation marketing management.
