China has compiled test guidelines for pesticide storage stability, transformation during food processing and plant biotransformation of pesticide and pesticide residues, which will be used during pesticide registration data collection
On 28 Nov 2016, China ICAMA released an announcement opening three draft guidelines on pesticide residue study to public consultation and will solicit public opinion until 12 Nov. The guidelines include:
Guideline for stability testing of pesticide residue in stored commodities;
Guideline for the processing test on pesticide residue in commodities;
Guideline for the testing of pesticide metabolism in crops;
The drafts detail stipulations on the conditions, experimental design, sampling, performance, quality control, data processing and final report, extrapolation between different crop/food groups, which should be used during data collection for pesticide registration.
