On 35 Mar 2015, China ICAMA opened the draft of “Good Efficacy Practice for Pesticide Registration” for public consultation. The draft provides the general principles applied during pesticide efficacy studies and the data requirements during pesticide registration review.
The draft articulates the details on testing obligations including testing facility qualification requirements, study director requirements, principal investigator and QA personnel requirements, in addition to defining the rules for experiments and archiving. GLP concepts were also incorporated into the draft:
The general requirement of infrastructure, apparatus and equipment;
The detailed rules of receipt, storage, allocation, processing, recording and archiving of test sample;
The aim, formulating, authorization and implementation of Study Plan;
The parameters and conditions which should include into the Raw Data and;
The content, authorization, format, archiving, technical content of efficacy test report;
The formulating, authorization, implementation and content of the Standard Operation Practice;
The draft will be available for public comment until 30 June.
