On 9 May 2020, China ICAMA solicits opinions on 7 draft guidelines for the housing care and testing of environmental organisms and environmental behavior.
As per China's new data requirements, Over 30 types of environmental impact tests would be required for new active ingredients, including short-term, long-term, developmental, reproduction toxicity to various environmental organisms at laboratory or semi-field scale, as well as the environmental behavior in different systems and the testing of some Chinese featured organisms must be performed in China.
Below guidelines aimed at improving the applicability and validity are under consultation until 10 June (downloadable in Chinese):
