On 7 Nov 2014, the Agricultural Chemicals and Toxic Substances Research Institute, Council of Agriculture, Executive Yuan (Taiwan TACTRI) updated the application form for data review on pesticide registration. All templates for each registration and extension category are now available for download at TACTRI’s website.

The application form collects the general information on the applicant and pesticide product, which includes the company name, address, product name, formulation type, active ingredient, content, targeting crop and pest, application method, product category, package specification. Depending on the pesticide origin, novelty of the active ingredient, safety level of the product, crop range, registration period, TACTRI further provided filing instruction of 8 templates for different circumstances:

1. Template for registration alteration;

2. Template for usage Expansion;

3. Template for alteration into safe product;

4. Template for home-made new formulation or new concentration level;

5. Template for home-made formulations registered for 8 years;

6. Template for imported technical materials;

7. Template for imported formulation of new active ingredient;

8. Template for imported formulation registered for 8 years;
