Based on the consolidation of GB 2763-2021 and GB 2763.1-2022, the GB 2763-2026 standard establishes 370 new residue limits and revises 23 existing ones. The new version specifies a total of 10,749 maximum residue limits for 585 pesticides in food. Its implementation will provide stronger support for guiding scientific pesticide use in agricultural production, enhancing the safety of China’s agricultural products and food, and promoting international trade.
