On January 13, 2014 China ICAMA issued a notice for public comment announcing the full registration of 117 products. The notice was issued in accordance with the “Administrative Approval Law” and “Regulations on Pesticide Administration”, both of which are designed to increase the regulatory transparency of pesticide management (see Chemlinked news release on Dec 23 2013). The public notice contained information on the applicants name, product name, active ingredient(s), content, formulation type, toxicity, crop range, target, dosage and application method. The 117 pending products included 15 technical materials and 102 formulated products. The registrant and registration number of the technical material of these formulated products were also listed. Stakeholders will have 7 days to comment on these pending registrations.
