Three pesticide active substances have been approved by EU

       On 20th November, the EU approved the active substances flumetralin, mandestrobin, and flupyradifurone as candidates for substitution, in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council concerning the placing of plant protection products on the market, and amending Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 540/2011. Additionally, the regulation reminds to concern the protection of pesticide operator and the potential risk towards environment and creatures.

       It is worth noting that Flupyradifurone is an active substance of Bayer CropScience’s SivantoTM prime series products. The approval of Flupyradifurone means great process for SivantoTM prim in EU market. After the approval comes into act, the first national registration of the product can be released in 2016 and the product will enter the market in 2017.
