Last month in Hangzhou, official from the Institute for the Control of Agrochemicals, Ministry of Agriculture (ICAMA) ICAMA has listed ten active ingredients most frequently registered with ICAMA certification in the past three years.
The imidacloprid and glyphosate retained third and fourth places from 2010 to 2012, respectively. The emamectin benzoate took first place in 2012 with 153 ICAMA registrations shortly after first ranked in the list in 2010, mainly due to its high efficacy, cost-effectiveness and low environmental concern.
