On March 5, 2021, the Chinese National Health Commission, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and the State Administration for Market Regulation jointly issued Announcement 4 of 2021 to replace the current MRL standard GB 2763-2019 and promulgate 4 standardized testing methods, which will take effect on September 5, 2021:

GB 23200.118-2021 National Food Safety Standard-Residue Determination of Cyanamide in Plant Source Food by LC/MS Method;
GB 23200.119-2021 National Food Safety Standard-Residue Determination of Nereistoxin Pesticides in Plant Source Food by GC Method;
GB 23200.120-2021 National Food Safety Standard-Residue Determination of Desmedipham in Plant Source Food by LC/MS Method;
GB 23200.121-2021 National Food Safety Standard- Residue Determination of 331 Pesticides and their Metabolites in Plant Source Food by LC/MS Method
